The Surrey Board of Trade will be accepting nominations for its 5th annual Women in Business Awards until February 7. The only people not eligible are those who have won the award over the past three years.
The awards honor the contributions made by women in businesses of all sizes. There are five categories for which nominees can qualify: Enrepreneur, Corporate / Leadership, Professional, Innovator and Not-for-Profit Leader. Nominations can come from business peers or the people themselves.
The Women in Business awards will be given out at a luncheon this coming March. The master of ceremonies will be Steve Darling from Global TV. It should be a great networking opportunity for both Board members and other business leaders.
It is probable that many of the women and men who plan to attend the ceremony will be checking to see if they have enough Business Cards to exchange with their Surrey peers. Those who find they are short, or that their cards need updating, will be placing a new business card printing order as soon as possible.
