In the 80’s and early 90’s, the Golden Girls was a popular television show that broke many boundaries. Fans of the show are invited to a show that will put a new spin on this retro classic.
Blanch, Dorothy, Sophia and Rose will all be taking to the stage, in puppet form. The performance will capture the spirit of the tv show, boasting the same gags and jokes that made the original so popular.
‘Thank you for Being a Friend’, which is produced by Joseph Patrick with Jonathan Rockefeller and Thomas Duncan, will run for approximately one and a half hours, and there will be an intermission part way through. The organizers of the event noted that the show has been written to appeal both die-hard fans and anyone who has never seen an episode. Furthermore, it is suitable for older kids and adults.
The puppet version of the Golden Girls will be staged in the Surrey Arts Centre, and the curtain will be going up at 8:00pm. Programs, souvenir Posters and other printed items for this type of activity can be sourced from a local poster printing service.
The brief trip back in time will take place on February 16th and more details can be found on the Surrey website.Get a Free Quote for Posters
