The next event in the Manufacturing Industry Series from the Surrey Board of Trade is to be called ‘Extracting the wealth from your business’ and will be held at the Board’s offices in January.
The aim of the seminar is to help business owners prepare for retirement and to sell their companies. It is presented by the NAI Business Group and the evening will start off with a welcome. Next will be a discussion about valuation and on selling a business; both topics will be followed with a question and answer session.
The evening will end with a cocktail reception that will give attendees a chance to discuss what they have learned with their business peers.
This will no doubt be a great networking opportunity for business leaders. Those thinking of selling their companies may find someone looking to buy, or they will be able to talk to someone who is currently going through the same process.
Many of the Surrey entrepreneurs who are planning to attend this event will be arranging for an order of new Business Cards from their local printing company. A stack of cards can easily be placed in a pocket or a purse for easy exchange during the cocktail party.
‘Extracting the wealth from your business’ will take place at the Surrey Board of Trade on January 20, from 5:45-8:30pm. Tickets are free but space is limited. To register, or to find more information, contact Jo-Ann at 604-581-7130.
