Cultural festival returns to Surrey this summer

The Fusion Festival is coming to Surrey for two days this July, and is set to pay tribute to over 40 different multicultural groups who make their home in the city and nearby communities.

There will be cultural pavilions representing countries in Asia, Europe, Africa, and other areas. These pavilions will be educating the public about the individual countries, and giving attendees the opportunity to try a variety of foods from around the world.

The event will also feature musical performances from artists such as Stephen Fearing, Coco Jafro, and the Ukraininian Prairie Band. In addition, visitors can get some new ideas from the cooking stage, participate in a ‘pow wow’, visit Kids’ World, or take part in a number of interactive activities suitable for those of any age.

The celebration was named Best Festival by the Special Event Magazine Gala Awards, held in Nashville back in January. No doubt the organizers will be publicizing this honor, and will mention it on any Flyers or Booklets they invest in from Surrey printing companies.

The Fusion Festival is taking place at Holland Park from July 19th to 20th, from 11:00am - 10:00pm. Admission is free. Attendees should be aware that tickets are necessary to buy food and are priced at $1 each; each vendor will charge an average of two to eight tickets.
