The Surrey Innovation Awards dinner is taking place in the city this May. It is a presentation of the Surrey Board of Trade.
The event pays tribute to those companies and individuals in the city that have shown creativity and innovation in their business dealings. The keynote speaker is Ferio Pugliese. There will also be a panel featuring experts from management, human resources, and several other disciplines.
The award categories are Excellence in Innovation and the Young Innovator Award. Nominees were named by their fellow business leaders, and the winners are chosen for their achievement, uniqueness and originality, completion of an idea, commercialization, and benefits to the community at large.
This will no doubt be an important networking event for those involved in Surrey business. There will be several opportunities before and after the awards presentation, and during the sit down dinner, to exchange Business Cards. Many of those planning on attending will likely outsource for business card printing as soon as possible, as they will want to make sure their cards are up to date and in good enough shape to hand out to those they meet.
