The Cirque Musica Holiday Spectacular is coming to Penticton this December, in a one-night stop on the group's two-week tour of the United States and Canada.
The event features aerial, high-wire, and circus acts performed to music played by the Okanagan Symphony Orchestra. Those involved will use such tools as silks, ropes, rings, and other hanging apparatus to the accompaniment of holiday tunes such as ‘O Holy Night’, ‘The Nutcracker Suite’, and original songs.
Cirque Musica features some well known names, such as the Wallenda High Wire Duo and the Espana Family.
The event currently has four productions, including Crescendo and Maestro, all of which draw large audiences wherever they go. The organization presents the types of performances similar to those given by Cirque de Soleil, but the two organizations are not related.
To encourage people from Penticton and surrounding areas to attend this evening event, organizers may have invested in flyer and postcard printing from local Print companies. The products can then be distributed in various ways to spread the word quickly.
The Cirque Musica Holiday Spectacular is playing at the South Okanagan Events Centre in Penticton on December 16th, beginning at 7:30pm.
