Penticton gala to support charity

The SOS Medical Foundation will be inviting donors to step into a Winter Wonderland with its annual gala in Penticton this November.

The gala will begin with an afternoon cocktail reception followed by a festive dinner. There will be live music and entertainment by Rann Berry and the Random Act, with attendees welcome to take to the dance floor. Visitors can also take part in live and silent auctions with prizes supplied by local sponsors.

All funds raised through this year’s event will go towards the South Okanagan Similkameen Medical Foundation, which helps build health care institutions in the Penticton region. This year’s donations will specifically go towards the Women and Children’s Department at Penticton Regional Hospital. The group describes their mission as improving medical access throughout the region, saying that charitable giving:

“Plays a vital role in helping us bridge the gap between essential government funding and helping deliver advanced medical care in the South Okanagan Similkameen. Your generosity helps us bring in the equipment, technology, and specialized programs to improve outcomes across our region for everyone.”

The gala will also feature local sponsors who have contributed to the cause. Charity events like this often feature sponsors and beneficiaries of donations in brochure printing and speeches.

The 2025 SOS Medical Foundation Winter Wonderland Gala will take place at the Penticton Trade & Convention Centre on November 22.
