The Adventure Addiction Festival is taking place for four days this June in Penticton.
The event is set to feature a number of activities that take place in and around the water. There will be a paddling regatta, the BC Enduro Bike Race, climbing competitions, and war canoe racing. A disc golf fundraiser will be held on the first day to benefit the Penticton Disc Golf Club.
Other things taking place include the Vancouver International Mountain Film Festival, paddling demonstrations, live music, skill courses, and live musical entertainment. Several clinics will include an introduction to climbing that will cost $50. Visitors can also do some trail running, hiking, kayaking, and canoeing on their own.
The Gear Junky Expo will feature local sporting goods and outdoor companies selling their products, and groups such as the Climbers Access Society and BC Parks will be providing information about their programs and services.
For those who wish to stay over during the festival, the resort offers campsites and yurts.
The festival will appeal to those in Penticton who enjoy being active in the outdoors. To spread the word, it's likely that Flyers and Posters from local Print companies have been distributed throughout the city.
The Adventure Addiction Festival will be held at the Barefoot Beach Resort and Skaha Bluffs from June 4th to 7th, beginning at 9:00am each day.Get a Free Quote for Print Get a Free Quote for Flyers Get a Free Quote for Posters
