Decision made to reopen Naramata Centre for 2016 season

The Naramata Centre, which is located near Penticton, will once again be opening its doors for another summer season.

The facility offers a variety of programs that bring people closer to each other and the environment around them. It also strives to promote leadership and provide a place where the arts can thrive. Although it was closed in January of 2015, due to the enthusiasm of the local community and the help of volunteers, the decision was made to reopen it on a trial basis for the 2016 season.

There are several different accommodations available, including both serviced and unserviced camp sites, cottages and hotel-style rooms. Those who wish to stay at the site do not need to participate in the programming, but can do so if they wish. It is also available for those who are looking for a place to stay while they enjoy all that the Okanagan area has to offer.

Along with accommodations, there is a beach to enjoy as well as other amenities. Brochures can be printed to help promote facilities such as this to those who may be interested in making plans for the summer or fall.

The season will run from May 28 until October 15. Those who are interested in staying at the Naramata Centre or signing up for one of its programs can find further details on its website.
