The 27th annual Summerland Festival of Lights is being held this November. This year's theme is "Christmas Rocks" and it is a presentation of the Summerland Chamber of Commerce.
There will be lots of activities taking place that will appeal to people of all ages. There will be musical entertainment by the Damn Fools, street performers, the Santa procession, ice carving demonstrations, and the "Season Sparkles" art show at the Summerland Art Gallery. Kids will have plenty to do during the festival, with activities such as pony and ATV rides, carnival games, and bounce houses. Visitors will be welcomed at Santa's workshop and will be able to pose for pictures with him.
There will also be fire dancing, food for sale, and shopping at local stores. The evening will round off with a fireworks display.
It is expected that the festival will attract over 6,000 visitors from all over the Okanagan area, including Penticton. Local poster printing firms were likely approached to provide the event Posters that will be used in advertising.
The Summerland Festival of Lights takes place on November 28th beginning at 5:00pm. There will be a countdown at 7:00pm for the lighting of the city's holiday lights. To find out more about this festival, call 250-494-2686 or visit the event's official Facebook page.Get a Free Quote for Posters
