The Penticton Elvis Festival is taking place next June over three days.
The festival will be held at various locations in the city including Okanagan Lake Park and the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre. The kick-off party will take place at The Mule on Martin on June 23; tickets are $5 each.
Some of the top Elvis Presley impersonators in the world will be entertaining and others will be competing to be named the best. Local musicians such as the Cadillac Kings will also be performing. Competitions will be held daily with participants being pared down until the judged finals on June 26 at the Centre. Tickets for each of the competitions are $15 and the finals range from $25 up to $50.
There is set to be a headliner show at the Centre that will feature Oliver Steinhoff, Ben Klein and Gino Monopoli. Tickets are $40 and $60. The last day of the festival will also feature a breakfast, gospel show and after party at the Lakeside Ballroom.
Elvis fans will likely be excited to attend at least one of the shows taking place in Penticton. It’s likely that a local Print company will be providing advertising materials like Flyers to help spread the word.
