The 29th annual Business Excellence Awards is taking place next month. It is a presentation of the Penticton and Wine County Chamber of Commerce.
The awards honor businesses of all kinds and sizes and business leaders in the area.
The evening will start off with an hour-long champagne reception where attendees will have the opportunity to network with their peers and exchange custom Business Cards. It will then be followed by a sit-down dinner and the awards presentations.
Awards will be handed out in several categories, including Community Support, Retail, Home-Based Business, Business of the Year and Excellence in Marketing Innovation.
Next, there will be a live auction with a variety of prizes donated by local businesses, and then music and entertainment provided by DJ Haymaker.
This is one of the most important business events of the year in Penticton and it is likely that several business leaders who are planning to attend will be placing a new business card printing order in advance. They will want to know that they have enough cards and that they have current contact information.
