Yoga instructors who take part in an upcoming Maple Ridge learning opportunity will be able to walk away with new skills and techniques that they can share with their students.
The day of learning that will be hosted this winter will explore the ways an individual can improve their posture and overall sense of wellbeing, and self-care will also be included in the discussion. CPD hours may be granted for those who participate, and the registration fee starts at $258.71.
Along with the basics of self-care, the students will discover a variety of ways they can adapt yoga practices to other aspects of their life, such as their work and recreation. They will find out how to prepare practice plans of their own, and both refreshments and a light lunch will be served.
At the end of the event, those in attendance will be able to take part in an exam to become certified. If an organizer of this type of learning opportunity reaches out to a local graphic design shop, they can present successful participants with a personalized certificate that recognizes their achievement.
The date for the Freeing the Head, Neck and Shoulders: Yoga Teacher Training has been set for February 27th. The venue will be released to the registrants once they have submitted their application.
