Each year, Maple Ridge gathers at an event that will offer a helping hand to an organization that supports those at the end of life as well as their friends and families, and the date has been set for its signature annual fundraiser.
Ridge Meadows Hospice Society has chosen the Albion Community Centre in Maple Ridge to serve as the venue for its Oktoberfest 2026 celebration. The monies raised will support an assortment of programming and other services, and it will boast an extensive line up of food, music and fun.
The guests will be treated to a menu of Bavarian inspired dishes, and crispy chicken schnitzel, traditional sausage and vegetarian options will all be on the menu. Live music will have everyone on their feet dancing, and a variety of games will add even more laughter. The seating will be at long tables, and there will be free on-site parking.
While they mix and mingle, the attendees will be invited to browse through the corporate gifts and other donated items and experiences in the silent auction, and it may be a good chance to snag some gifts for the upcoming winter holiday season. An even split draw is also on the agenda. The function is restricted to those age 19 and up .
At the time this was written, tickets for Oktoberfest 2026 were still on offer, and they start at $85.00 each. It is scheduled for October 23rd.
