It is said that April showers bring May flowers, and in Maple Ridge, this month will also bring a pop-up plant market to one of its public parks.
Memorial Peace Park will soon see plant fans congregate for the Maple Ridge Plant Exchange, and all are welcome. It will be popping up for three hours, and it will begin in the late morning.
The attendees at the exchange will find plenty to talk about. They will be able to catch up with old gardening friends, meet new ones, share gardening tips and advice and browse through all of the plants on offer. Everyone is encouraged to bring cuttings, pots, seeds, gently used gardening tools and other items, which they can trade in for others, free of charge. Everyone can head for home with a new addition to their growing space, and as the more the merrier, the organizers are hoping it will attract a large number of attendees.
