The Downtown Maple Ridge Business Improvement Association (BIA) promotes connection and collaboration between its members, and it has an activity in the works for January.
The team at AbracaShaba Sourdough Focacceria & Cafe are set to welcome a session of the BIA Connection and Collaboration initiative, and it is for BIA members only. The venue opened its doors in 2025, and while they mix and mingle, the attendees can discover what it has to offer.
During the event, which is held quarterly, there will be a presentation that outlines the organization's upcoming plans, as well as information shared about its campaigns and programs for 2026, and the atmosphere will be casual and relaxed. Bringing Business Cards is highly recommended, as they will make it simple to share contact details, and they will also be collected and used for a raffle prize draw.
Business mixers promote connection and help its members get to know one another. Some organizers choose to distribute swag such as promotional Pens to the participants in such networking events.
