Thai cuisine combines flavours such as lemongrass, kaffir lime, and chilies to create a distinctive taste that has become popular all over the world. During a Maple Ridge area workshop, the public will learn how easy it can be to enjoy a taste of Thailand without ever having to leave their own home area.
A class is on offer that will offer an introduction to cuisine from the Asian nation, and it has been planned so that it will be as fun as it is educational. The ingredients will be provided, and the learning will be hands-on.
The menu for the occasion includes Pad Thai as well, as fried chicken and basil, and bowls of tom yum soup, which will be followed by Thai banana in coconut milk and lemongrass tea. Both chai and green tea will be poured for the “chefs in training“ to enjoy while they work, and the spices used will be gluten free.
When it is time to go home at the end of the workshop, the learners will take home Copies of the recipes they have learned so they can prepare them on their own. A printing services provider can supply bound cookbooks that can be sold during a class like this to any participants who would like to try their hand at making additional dishes.
This class, which is open to anyone who is age 21 and over, will be offered on February 9. Its location will be 80 Ave and 208 St. in Langley. Get a Free Quote for Copies
