A Chamber of Commerce provides a range of support and services to its membership, and Maple Ridge’s business community is encouraged to take advantage of an event it has scheduled for this summer.
The July instalment of Monthly Mixers, which is hosted by the Maple Ridge and Pitt Meadows Chamber of Commerce, will give those who take part a chance to meet and mingle. To ensure it will be safe for all, it will take place virtually using the Zoom platform, and it is being offered at no cost to the attendees.
The schedule for the activity includes time in breakout rooms, where the participants will be able to get to know one another better. They can share best practices, tips and success stories, as well as their challenges and how they met them. There will be a set period of time for each of these smaller sessions, and this will be determined based upon how many attend the event. It has been noted that the meeting will be recorded.
While many functions like this have been moved online due to COVID-19, the participants may still appreciate receiving physical Copies of any materials used. These can be prepared by Stationery printers and mailed out.
