Networking event being held for Maple Ridge businesses
An opportunity early next month for local entrepreneurs, business leaders, and those with recent start-up ventures to expand their professional contacts is being offered by a business advocacy organization in Maple Ridge.
Ridge Meadow Chamber of Commerce is once again sponsoring its Business After Hours networking event, just one in a series of programs it provides to the community.
Since 1999, the Ridge Meadow Chamber of Commerce has strived to support businesses in the Maple Ridge area through education, training, marketing guidance, and money-saving programs for members.
According to the Chamber’s website, networking is seen as an important part of industry cooperation, as it can help in building confidence for entrepreneurs, exposes them to like-minded people as well as new ideas, and builds on the social intelligence of business leaders. The Chamber advocates for the mutual exchange of ideas, resources, and support for all participants in the market, believing it creates a stronger and more diverse economy.
The Business After Hours event will be a chance for local businesses to make acquaintances with other entrepreneurs and possibly create partnerships, while advertising their own respective ventures with the exchanging of corporate gifts and other promotional products.
Attendees are eligible for door prizes and can enjoy appetizers and coffee provided non gratis.
The event will be held on Thursday August 7, 2025 from 5:00 pm - 7:00 pm, at the Nut Coffee Shop (104 - 22638 119 Avenue Maple Ridge). Admission is $10.00 per person, but is free for Chamber members.
