A floral centrepiece or other arrangement may be surprisingly easy to create, and a Maple Ridge workshop will share secrets for creating a colourful holiday display.
Westgate Garden’s Sandra will guide a group of learners through the step of crafting a centrepiece using flowers, greenery and other materials. It will be hosted at the ACT Arts centre, and tickets are on sale now for $40.
The registration fee for the activity includes all of the materials needed to prepare a piece, and each guest will also be treated to a drink from the bar. Social distancing and other safety protocols will be followed so that the attendees can enjoy the activity while minimizing the risk to them and the other participants, and the function will run for two hours.
When ticket holders arrive for the workshop, they will be greeted and checked in. To help with contact tracing, names and details will be collected and late admittances will not be permitted. Stationery printers can lend a hand in making an event like this as safe as possible by supplying materials such as COVID-19 checklists, registration sheets and other items, all of which can be printed with the host’s Logo Design.
This introduction to holiday floral decor will be offered on December 8. It will be an adults-only occasion, and the venue for the evening can be found at 11944 Haney Place in Maple Ridge.
