Maple Ridge kids can unlock a passion for baking within children at an upcoming macaron class.
Kizzy's Macarons is a small bakery located in Maple Ridge. This March, the owners will share their passion for baking with the region's local children.
The Children's Macaron Class is designed to teach children ages six and up how to make macarons. Students will learn how to pipe out macarons and decorate them. With a heavy focus on having fun, the children will fill and decorate pre-made macaron shells. Students will be able to experiment with various flavours, toppings and decorations with their macarons and make them unique. At the end of the two-and-a-half-hour class, the students will go home with approximately 20 macrons they have made and a recipe sheet to continue practising their skills at home. Snacks and refreshments will be provided, but attendees should be mindful that macarons contain almond flour and the bakery does utilize other nuts.
When conducting hands-on learning experiences like this, event hosts often utilize branded Letterheads when providing Copies of notes or recipes. This helps attendees remember where they obtained the information from and who they can contact for more information.
The Macaron Class for Kids will take place on March 20th from 1 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. at Kizzy's Macarons, located at 22071 128 Avenue Maple Ridge. The Eventbrite listing has further event information.
