For the Maple Ridge community, Canada Day has often been seen as a family event, something that is exemplified at an upcoming celebration.
This Canada Day, the Maple Ridge community is gathering for a day full of family fun with a wide range of activities planned at Memorial Peace Park. Attendees can enjoy a variety of live music throughout the day while participating in different free activities. The event will also have a variety of local entertainment and dance performances. Some of the planned activities include a Rock Wall Climbing Zone, Monster Foam and a variety of inflatables. Guests will also be able to get some local shopping in at the Haney Farmers Market or explore the variety of community stations, food trucks and vendors that will be at the festival.
Community stations often will have volunteers ready to provide information about the different services the city offers. Brochure printing may be used ahead of events to supply attendees with information on how to access those services or how to volunteer themselves after the event.
