A Maple Ridge fundraiser is set to help members of the public release their inner artist, and while they are enjoying putting brush to canvas, participants will be doing a good turn for students at a local school.
Hammond Elementary will be the beneficiary of a paint night fundraiser, and each participant will be creating their own masterpiece. One of the big draws about this activity may well be a chance to meet a live owl, and everyone is welcome to attend as an individual or as a group.
While ticketholders are walked through the steps needed to complete their painted project, they will be introduced to the owl who will be on hand to keep an eye on the activity. Attendees can have their photos taken with this friendly bird, and tickets for the evening will be available at the door.
