February can be a chilly time of the year in Maple Ridge, but an upcoming event heat things up when it offers its guests an opportunity to hit the dance floor.
The Albion Community Centre is set to welcome the Garibaldi Secondary Music’s Dessert and Dance 2025, which promises to be a fun and high-energy celebration. The musical entertainment for the gathering will be supplied by the Golden Ears Jazz Band, as well as GSS Jazz Bands, and it will take a step back in time to the days when this style of music was all the rage.
The guests will be treated to a selection of desserts to satisfy their sweet tooths, and everyone can show off their best moves on the dance floor. To help break the ice and get everyone started, free swing dance lessons will be provided, and all of the guests, whether they are expert dancers or just getting started, will be encouraged to join the fun. Tickets start at $27.96, and a special two-for-one offer is available until February 8th.
A fundraising dance can be lot of fun for the guests, organizers and volunteers alike. Special decor can add to the atmosphere of an occasion, and it can be obtained from area banner printing companies.
