The Maple Ridge Amateur Radio Club recently announced that it will be welcoming the return of its springtime swap meet, and noted it will be the largest function of its type in the region.
The agenda of the day is filled with activities that will give those who enjoy working with amateur radio equipment lots to smile about. Prize draws are in the works for the day, and some of attendees will be going home with a brand new radio, courtesy of the function’s sponsors.
The day will open with a breakfast of pancakes and sausages served with coffee and, after this, the exhibitors who have booked a space will be able to get set up. A variety of radio telephony equipment will be on display, and raffles and even split draws will take place. VIP ticket holders will be granted early access to the sales area, and everyone can sit in on the presentation.
Swap meets give those who enjoy a hobby a chance to meet their fellow enthusiasts and obtain new equipment at a low price. Promoting these functions may be simple with assistance from a local poster printing company.
The Maple Ridge Amateur Radio Club has made arrangements to host its spring Swap Meet on May 1st. The Pitt Meadows Heritage Hall will be providing space for the occasion.
