Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows has earned a reputation for being a community with a big heart, and one of its social service organizations has released the date for its signature winter fundraiser.
The crew at Maple Ridge/Pitt Meadows Community Services have invited one and all to attend its Winter Wonders Community Celebration. It will be on offer in late November, and it will welcome all ages.
The plans for the occasion include a pop-up mart filled with local small businesses, and the public can meet many of the makers in person. Everyone can take in the live performances and other entertainment, and there will be special fun just for the kids. A food truck from the area will be parked on site, and the festivities will run for four hours.
While the gathering may offer a great time, it also has a higher purpose. It will help the organization to support local families in need, and last year, it was able to provide assistance to more than 28,000 people. A brochure printing company can prepare programs to distribute to the attendees at a function that gives them information about how their generosity will make a difference.
