The holiday gift buying season has arrived, and those who would like to save some time while they shop may want to make sure they are among the crowd at an upcoming Maple Ridge market.
The Albion Community Centre serves as a venue for a variety of community gatherings, and it will soon be the location for the Albion Holiday Craft Fair. It will put local crafting talents in the spotlight, and those who stop by can find gift ideas that will not be available in typical retail stores.
The options that will be on offer will range from clothing to baked goods, and jewellery, specialty foods, toiletries, home decor and lots of other options will all be on display as well. The shoppers can meet and chat with their talented neighbours, and to add even more fun to the day, a raffle draw will take place. The proceeds from this will be donated to local charities.
As an extra special added touch, Santa himself will be stopping by to join the fun. The first 100 to arrive will receive a free gift to thank them for their patronage. Promotional products are often distributed at events like this.
The Albion Community Centre will be rolling out the red, white and green carpet for the Albion Holiday Craft Fair on November 26th. Shoppers are welcome to stop by and show some love to the local small business community between 11:00 am and 4:00 pm.
