Maple Ridge celebration to welcome all

While the holidays are cause for celebration for most, it can be a different story for those who have to be on their own. A Maple Ridge event will give them a reason to smile, and it will be welcoming to all who attend.

A holiday dinner that includes all the festive trimmings will be served to members of the public who can use some extra cheer, and it will be a volunteer driven event. Individuals and families are welcome, and the occasion will be accessible to those who need a wheelchair or who have other challenges.

Reservations are not required to take a seat during the meal, and it can be a fun way to meet and build connections with other community members. Santa will be making a visit, and there will be activities for the kids. All ages can enjoy the entertainment, and the goal is for everyone who attends to walk away with a smile on their face and happiness in their heart.

The planners of this annual nondenominational celebration noted that they wished to express their thanks to the many corporate and other sponsors as well as the volunteers who help to make the occasion happen. Certificates of appreciation for the “Santa’s helpers” who make this sort of function possible can be custom designed by Stationery printers.

This year’s Christmas Haven will be welcoming guests at The ACT, which can be found in Maple Ridge’s downtown core. It will be held on December 24.
