The organizer of a Mother's Day activity that is on the agenda for a Maple Ridge historic site will take inspiration from “Alice in Wonderland”, and all ages can join in the fun.
Those who attend will be able to enjoy a variety of activities along with their mom, grandma or another special woman in their life. Tickets are $20, and everyone will go home with a keepsake photo of the experience.
The staff and volunteers at Thomas Haney House will be decorating the site so that the attendees will feel like they stepped into the page of the popular book. They can play bean bag toss and croquet out on the lawn, and self-guided tours will see everyone try to spot the hidden Cheshire cats. There will be hands-on crafting stations and ice tea prepared by T’s, and an assortment of light bites will be served to the guests.
