Maple Ridge area chamber to host networking session

While networking may be an important skill for a business owner, it does not always come naturally, but an upcoming evening activity may help new networkers to get their feet wet.

The Langley Chamber of Commerce has organized a Maple Ridge area event that will introduce the ins and outs of networking. The presenter will be Olivia Olczak Day, who founded Day Media Consulting, and it will explore the topic from a current perspective.

While they enjoy a charcuterie board and sipping on a glass of wine, the participants will be taught tips that can make networking go a lot more smoothly for them. It will be interactive, and the skills taught can be put to use right away during business meetings, mixers and corporate events. Advance registration is required for the session, and this can be completed by phone.

Chambers of Commerce serve their members in a variety of ways, and often host networking mixers and other chances for their members to connect. Business card printing services for such activities can be sourced from area Print shops.

This in-person introduction to the art and science of networking with ease is scheduled for April 14th. It will be kicking off at 5:00 pm in the Boardroom at the Langley Chamber of Commerce, located at 207 - 8047 199 Street in Langley.
