Anti-bullying message abounds during Pink Shirt Day

Printing services in Delta, B.C., could produce the promotional materials for today’s Pink Shirt Day, an event that is taking place, among other areas, in downtown Vancouver. The purpose of the event is to fight bullies and all their bullying ways, and the brainchild of today’s anti-bullying show of force is none other than the Greater Vancouver Boys and Girls Club. Today is the fourth-annual incarnation of Pink Shirt Day, and the personal mission of the boys and girls is behavior modification. In conjunction with today’s downtown event, other Pink Shirt Day-related events are also being held across communities, businesses, and schools across the province of B.C. This special interest group even has its own message, which is, “Bullying Stops Here!”

A female member of the Boys and Girls Club of Greater Vancouver had a special and pointed message of idealism to impart to anyone who was interested in issues about bullies and their bullied victims. According to Carolyn Tuckwell, people ought to celebrate Pink Shirt Day by either intervening when someone is being bullied, or by simply being kind to the grocery store clerk.

Tuckwell further revealed her anti-bullying philosophy. She thinks that the world could very well change if more people would adapt the tenets of the anti-bullying message of Pink Shirt Day. She closed her comments by declaring that every day ought to be a day dedicated to anti-bullying.

Printing services in nearby Delta, B.C., can help get the word out about Pink Shirt Day. They can do this by printing promotional materials for the day and having event organizers distribute them.
