The event, called “Growth Despite Everything”, will be a one-evening seminar. Presentations will focus on how to diversify revenue streams, process-proof a business, and plan a clear end game. The goal is to spark meaningful conversation between participants and help professionals to find their “why”.
Featured speakers include Jennyfer Cassar from the Delta Chamber of Commerce, TFN Executive Councillor Valerie Cross, and the Business Development Bank of Canada’s Siobhan McManus and Rosanne Horner. There will also be a panel of female business owners and entrepreneurs. The evening will also feature refreshments including canapés and mocktails. Organizers write that:
“This event is thoughtfully designed to empower and support female and female-identifying members of the Delta business community through meaningful connection and conversation.”
The seminar is co-hosted by the Delta Chamber of Commerce, the Tsawwassen First Nation, and the BDC. Chamber members will receive discounted admission. Business education and growth events like this are also popular spots for networking, with resumé and business card printing often used to prepare for such evenings.
“Growth Despite Everything” will take place at the Tsawwassen First Nation Cultural Hub on the evening of January 21, 2026. The dress code will be “smart casual”.
