The fundraiser will take the form of a gala dinner featuring a full buffet and drinks. There will also be a charity auction with a wide array of prizes. In addition to high-quality fishing gear, featured items include charter trips, Lululemon clothing, Gift Certificates for local businesses and Vancouver Canucks tickets. The items total over $35,000 in value.
There will also be a raffle with prizes donated by local businesses and organizations. Money raised through gala tickets, the raffle and auction will all go towards Angling4Autism’s efforts in the upcoming season. The organization provides all-inclusive fishing trips and instructions on the British Columbia course to individuals with autism and their families.
Fred Lee will return to host this year’s Reel Hope Gala. Organizations at charity events like this often use speeches and brochure printing to help explain what the beneficiary organization does. Advertising for the Gala explains the importance of the cause:

The 2026 Reel Hope Gala will take place on the evening of March 1 at the Starlight Casino in Delta.
