The Fraser Valley Women's Expo is taking place in Chilliwack for three days beginning on the last day of February. It is being advertised as a day out for girlfriends, daughters and mothers.
There are expected to be over 200 exhibitors, including a vintage marketplace. Local community and business organizations will also be on hand to provide information about their services. There will also be arts and crafts for sale, free beauty makeovers, cooking demonstrations, live entertainment, fashion shows and workshops. One confirmed workshop is to be hosted by Kathy van Gogh and will teach participants how to create a vintage art sign which they can take home with them.
Many vendors are also expected to be handing out free samples or promotional items to those who stop by their booths. Some of the arts and crafts vendors may also provide free Postcards to help advertise their handmade creations or give purchasers their contact information in case they want to find out when and where their next show will be. Chilliwack postcard printers are often asked to provide services to events such as this.
