Chilliwack neighbourhood to hold annual festival

A community staple, Chilliwack’s Cedarbrook neighbourhood will be holding its annual Cedarbrook Day this August, looking to bring people together.

Cedarbrook Day will include a number of family-friendly activities throughout the neighbourhood. There will be a Kid’s Zone with an arts and crafts workshop provided by Home Depot, face painting and balloon animals by Imagine that Artworks, a “ninja” style obstacle course a Bubble Station. Animal lovers of all ages can also meet and pet wildlife at the Farm Friends Animal Zone, which includes an educational display.

Those looking for an athletic challenge can take on a rock climbing wall. Music for the event will be provided by DJ Simon Bridgefoot. Cedarbrook Day will also include prize giveaways and pet-focused fun throughout the day. The festival area will also include a vendor market including food trucks, artisans and coffee and ice cream from The Bend.

Cedarbrook Day is hosted by Live at Cedarbrook, looking to encourage real estate interest in the area and help grow community spirits among the residents. Neighbourhood associations and real estate organizations often use events like this and banner printing to help encourage interest in the area. The organization also promotes periodic community events like the weekly Summer Yoga Series.

The 2026 edition of Cedarbrook Day will take place on August 22 at Cedarbrook Park and the surrounding area in Chilliwack, and is free to attend.
