With the holidays quickly approaching, now is a good time to think about buying gifts for friends and family. Everyone wants to think that the gifts they give will be treasured and enjoyed and one way to ensure that is to buy gifts that are handmade and one-of-a-kind. The Chilliwack Christmas Craft Market will be offering just those types of items for sale.
All items sold at the craft market must be handmade. Items expected to be for sale will probably include pottery, Christmas decorations, knitted and hand-woven items, artworks, and ceramics. It will be a great opportunity for those in the community to discover artists and crafters and to find that perfect gift for a loved one.
Arts and craft vendors taking part in the market are chosen by a jury. An 8 x 10 booth can be rented for $125, tables are $10 extra, and chairs are supplied free of charge. They are also charged 10% of all sales they make during the event. The booths will have curtains on three sides and vendors are encouraged to add Signs or Banners to their booths but they must not be attached to the curtains, only hung from the surrounding supports. No doubt the vendors will be working with Chilliwack printing companies to create and Print the necessary Signs or Banners.
The 38th Chilliwack Christmas Craft Market will take place at Chilliwack Heritage Park from November 16 – 18 and admission is free of charge.
