The 2012 Chilliwack Fair will take place at Heritage Park from August 10 - 12. Ticket prices for adults are $10 in advance and $8 at the gate, for seniors and youth $7 in advance and $5 at the gate, children aged five and under are free, and a family pass is $30 per day. RV and tent camping is $15.
The Chilliwack Fair has been taking place for 140 years and is always a popular event. There is plenty to do, including a rodeo, an open horse show, carnival rides and amusements, the Grinder obstacle course, Creation Station, the Home and Garden building, vendors, and various contests. Also viewable will be the Hawk Stage, which will present acts such as Prism and Jerry Doucette, while The Home and Garden building will feature cooking demonstrations, a roller derby, a market place, and exhibits. Vendors wishing to sell their products can rent an outdoor booth for $250 or an indoor one for $350. Food concessions can rent space for $750.
