Classic car show to park itself to Chilliwack this June
The 11th annual Village Classic Car Show is returning to downtown Chilliwack next month.
Over 300 classic cars will be on display on Wellington, Mill, Young, Victoria, and Upper Yale Streets. All those taking part must register their vehicles at the Landing Sports Centre. In addition to hundreds of classic cars, there will be exhibitors, food, and business vendors.
A popular and novel part of the day will no doubt be the special ‘tuner car’ section, highlighting souped-up cars. The Taste of Chilliwack will also be taking place on the same day, giving local restaurants the chance to provide food samples to the public. It should be a great opportunity to view some cars that the public does not get to see on the street anymore, and even those who are not interested in cars can get to sample some of the restaurants in the area.
Vendor space can be rented for $150 for food providers and $200 or $350 for business vendors. Sponsorships are also available. Those who are planning to sell products or exhibit their services will very likely be working with Chilliwack printing companies to prepare for the show, perhaps investing in sign and banner printing services to help draw attention to their booth.
The Village Classic Car Show will take place in downtown Chilliwack on June 23 from 11:00 am - 4:00 pm. Those who wish to take part in the show, or are interested in attending (which is free), can contact Desmond Devnich at 604-792-4576 for more information.
