Mother’s Day is on the way, and in Chilliwack, mothers of all ages can enjoy an evening out with their family or friends that will be filled with laughter and fun, and when it’s over, they will each tale home a special memento of the occasion.
A planter making night has been planned for the community, and the session will be long enough that the project can be completed before it’s time to go home. The pot will be filled with annual flowers, and can add a touch of beauty to a home, patio or garden.
The fee to register for the evening is $40, and this will include the materials needed to construct and decorate the planter as well as the pants to put in it. Appetizers and other refreshments will be served, and the instruction for the activity will be supplied courtesy of Minter Gardens.
An activity like this can be a fun idea for a Mother’s Day gift, and if Mom can’t go, she may still appreciate receiving the handmade piece as a gift.
