Chilliwack’s Rotary Club engages in a variety of community service projects, both at home and abroad, and its annual fundraising book sale is scheduled for this fall.
The organization’s yearly book sale helps to fund an assortment of initiatives undertaken by the group, such as tree planting, food hampers for school children, a technology drive and various other programs. The public has been asked to donate reading materials for the event, and they can also stop by to restock their own shelves.
Donations of Books can be made at the main drop-off point, which is located at 44880 Wolfe Road. This will be open 24 hours a day, and DVDs, record albums and Books of decent quality will all be appreciated. There is also an assortment of volunteer positions to be filled, and sponsorships from local businesses will help to ensure the event is a success.
The host of a fundraiser like this can help the function meet its goals by ensuring it is well promoted. Print shops offer many promotional materials to do so, and are happy to discuss ideas with their customers.
This year, the annual Rotary Book Sale will be held from October 25th to October 31st. It will be set up in Chilliwack Heritage Park, and its website includes all of the necessary details.
