Chilliwack shoppers who would like to get all their holiday gift buying done under one roof may find that an upcoming pop-up market is just the place.
The Christmas Gifts Expo, which has come to be an annual event for the community, will be supporting its small businesses by offering them a chance to connect with the public. There will be three shopping days to choose from, and there will be free parking at the venue.
The crafters, artisans and small companies that are set to take part will be offering everything from handmade clothing to toiletries, toys, candles and lots of other gift ideas. Admission to the function is $5 per ticket, and little ones aged five and under will be able to enter for free. Many of the participating businesses will be donating Corporate Gifts that will be used for the door prize draws, which will take place throughout the weekend.
To help this market make even more of an impact, everyone is asked to bring along a donation for the local food bank. These non-perishables will be gathered up at the end of the event and passed along to those in need.
