A call has gone out to Chilliwack golfers to support a local fundraising event, and those that do will be enjoying a day out on the links.
This summer, the annual Chilliwack Community Services (CCS) Golf for CCS will be celebrating its seventh year, and the registration fee is $200. The funds raised will remain in the local area, and tax receipts will be issued.
The plans for the day include 18 holes of golf, as well as a boxed lunch and other refreshments. A hole-in-one contest is on the agenda, and there will be other prizes awarded too. As a special addition to the usual activities, the golfers will be able to hire a pro from the UFV Golf Team and Alumni, and it is expected that tickets for the function will sell out fast.
Sponsoring this sort of function gives local businesses a way to connect with the community while doing a good turn. Recognizing the generosity of these corporate partners by including the Logo Design of each in the programs and other items that market an event offers a way to recognize sponsors’ support, and these items may be obtained from a local Print shop.
