Chilliwack’s hospice program provides those at the end of life, along with their friends and family, support and other assistance. In turn, it is asking for help from the community, and it will soon be hosting its annual fundraising gala.
The organization has put together an elegant celebration that will have a theme of ‘An evening under the stars’. It will be the signature event for the Chilliwack Hospice Society and Prospera Centre, and this will be the 16th year that the occasion will be held.
The sumptuous affair will include a buffet gourmet meal inspired by French cuisine, which will be served along with a selection of fine wines. Both live and silent actions will give the guests a chance to snag some great prizes and experiences, and there will also be live entertainment.
The planners of the function explained that this will be the host’s largest fundraiser for the year, and the funds will be used to help support individuals and families who are facing a challenging time. A printer’s graphic design department will be able to prepare special decor for an event like this as well as materials that give the guests information about how their support will be making a difference in their community.
This evening of elegance will take place on 19th October, starting at 6pm. Tickets can be purchased now, and the price starts at $150 each.
