Chilliwack festival to feature locally crafted libations

Fans of micro and craft distilleries may wish to head to Chilliwack to participate in a festival that will showcase products from across the province.

The Fraser Valley Distillery Festival, which will be held this winter in Chilliwack, will offer vodkas, whiskies, a variety of liqueurs, gins, and many other beverages. These will all have been crafted in the province using small batch and craft distilling techniques, and many of the ingredients used to produce them will have been sourced from the local area.

The event, which is open to anyone over the age of 19, will be taking place in the Chilliwack Cultural Centre. The admission price for the function includes an opportunity to sample all of the distilled beverages that will be on offer, as well as food and entertainment. A pop-up liquor store will be on site, and guests can purchase some of their favorite products.

This event is being held as a fundraiser for the Chilliwack Academy of Music, and the proceeds will be used to help fund its various programs and initiatives. Tasting glasses, Packaging supplies, Signs, and other items for this type of event can be produced by an area printer.

This festival of provincially produced distilled beverages will be taking place on January 26, and the ticket price will be $45 each. More details can be found on its website.
