The arrival of spring means that farmers’ markets are beginning to open their gates for another season, and Chilliwack’s Vedder Farm and Artisan Market will be on the list.
The market will be opening for 2021, and it has plans in the works for its first themed celebration of the year. This will be “gardening”, and it will help to kick off another horticultural season.
Members of the public who attend the free community gathering will be able to purchase new plants and seeds, as well as hard goods, and there will also be a seed exchange. There will be a special reduction of fees for any vendors that sell garden-themed items, and there will also be a variety of crafters and locally based artisans in the mix. The function is scheduled to be held in Watson Glen Park, and it will be open to shoppers for a total of four hours.
This type of event often benefits from the services of a banner printing company. It will be able to supply themed booth décor, as well as signage, Business Cards and many other types of materials.
This kick-off to the farmers’ market season will welcome the public on May 1st. It will begin at 2:00 pm, and shoppers can stop by anytime between then and 6:00 pm.
