Chilliwack Fair back for another year
The Chilliwack Fair has a long history of providing a weekend of fun for people form the local area and the surrounding communities, and organizers hope that this year will be no different.
The fair is celebrating its 144th year, and to mark the occasion, there is a full schedule of activities. There will be live music, contests, animals showings, agricultural displays, an Art Zone, cooking and baking demonstrations, and a number of other displays and contests.
Sponsorship opportunities are available for businesses and community organizations. Those who may be interesting in lending their support are asked to contact the organizers at 604-824-8191. A variety of customized promotional products can be produced by a print company for use during large events such as this, such as striking posters or brochures.
Advanced tickets can be purchased at the Fair Office, which is located at 7590 Lickman Road and also at the downtown branch of Save on Foods. They will be for sale at the gate, and those who are members of the Chilliwack Agricultural Society will be admitted free of charge.
