The market will feature over 150 vendors in the bridal and maternity sectors under the same roof. Items on sale range from wedding dresses to baby clothing, and from wedding photographers to nursery set-up. Vendors will be selected from an online application open to artisans, wedding professionals and retail sellers from across the Fraser Valley and beyond. Exhibitors at events like this often use sign and banner printing to help draw attention and better explains their products or services.
While this is the first Blush Markets event, the organizers have previously hosted marketplaces like the Vintage Barn Market and Fraser Valley Women’s Expo, and hope to make this combination an annual gathering. Participants will receive free “swag Bags” for attending. Babies, strollers and small dogs are welcome, and there will be a nursing lounge for new mothers to get off their feet. Promotional material emphasizes the comprehensive nature of the event:
“For Brides… Plan your entire wedding from start to finish in one weekend. For Baby… From maternity, to newborn, to toddler - we’ve got all of your precious needs for those first few years covered.”
The first ever Blush Markets will take place at Chilliwack Heritage Park on May 31 and June 1.
