Chilliwack car show to go ahead as planned

The Fraser Valley Classic Car Show is set to roll into Chilliwack this June, and everyone who wants to show off their prized vehicles to the world will be able to do so.

This yearly gathering, which is held in support of the Chilliwack General Hospital, will go ahead as scheduled this summer. Even if they do not have a vehicle to display, members of the public can still lend a hand by making a generous donation, and those who make a contribution of $20 or more will receive a tax receipt.

Anyone who would like to display a vehicle will be asked to pay an advanced registration fee of $10, and while drive ups will be welcome on the day of the event, they will be asked to pay $15. There will be six categories to choose from, and motorcycles can participate as well.

The organizers have noted that food trucks will be parked on site to keep the crowd well fed throughout the day. Owners of mobile food service operations may wish to have a vehicle wrap prepared and installed by an area printing services company in preparation for an event like this.

The date for the 2021 Fraser Valley Car Show is set for June 15th. The celebration will take place on Caen Avenue.
