Chilliwack business to host annual community holiday party

An upcoming Chilliwack event will bring the community together in an event that will offer lots of holiday-themed fun while helping to make sure no resident while have an empty table.

The annual Eats and Treats Christmas Market will be returning to The Farm Store and Fraser Valley Specialty Poultry, and everyone is welcome. There will be a wide variety of freshly prepared cookies and other sweets to enjoy, and a large assortment of vendors will be on site, giving out samples of their products and answering questions from the guests. For anyone who is really in the mood for a bite to eat, there will also be several food trucks on site to choose from.

The food will not be all that’s on offer; bakers and artisans from the local area will have displays set up, and the public is invited to browse through their goods to find something special for everyone on their gift list for this year. There will be craft stations set up for the kids, as well as face painting, and it has been rumoured that the locations very own duck mascot will be making an appearance. Digital printing can be used to craft a range of printed products that can help to make an occasion like this a success.

This holiday celebration will be taking place at 4540 Simmons Road on December 2. It is free for guests and vendors alike, and everyone who comes out is encouraged to bring along a non-perishable food item to donate to the food bank. More details can be found on the Chilliwack website.
