This June will see the return of the Village Classic Car Show, which marks the unofficial start of summer event season in Chilliwack.
The show typically features hundreds of classic cars, including unusual custom constructions, vintage hot rods and more. The top cars in each category will win awards announced towards the end of the event. The event also features live music and food trucks from local vendors, creating an outdoor festival-type atmosphere. There are also games and activities with the chance to win prizes. Last year’s edition, which featured three stages of musical performances, marked the return of large-scale live events in downtown Chilliwack, and the show is looking to attract an even bigger audience this year.
Past editions of the Village Classic have also included Kids Zones with family-friendly games, a remote-control racing strip and a vintage market featuring items contemporaneous to the historic cars on display. Large events such as this allow vendors, whether car enthusiasts or local shops, to connect with potential customers through everything from Business Cards to custom items. A full list of this year’s events will be released in the weeks leading up to the Show.
The 2023 Village Classic Car Show will take place on June 25 in Downtown Chilliwack, with the event hub situated near the Courthouse.
